OOOHH, I took my first dive in the water yesterday and my head fully froze like an ice block! The water is 14 degrees. It’s not too bad once you've swum 50 metres or so. The nerves are starting to kick in now that I have registered.
We went to the opening ceremony last night and it was just awesome seeing all the different country’s flags and hearing the different music. The two things that raised the most attention were the Kazakhstan flag and the New Zealand haka.
We walked back along the water front and it’s just amazing seeing all the bridges lit up. Had spaghetti bolognaise and a Sprite last night for dinner which cost me 7 dollars!! It’s amazingly cheap. I’m having an awesome time, all the New Zealand team are awesome.
Really keen for this race 2moro.
HUNGARY FOR MORE!!!!!!!!!

Pain is temporary, it may last one minute, one hour or one day but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. However if I quit, it lasts forever!!
