We had a speedy flight back from Singapore airport last night, which arrived in at midday today.
Had an awesome party Sunday night but had to leave at 12.30am so we could get up at 4am to catch our shuttle to the airport. We thought leaving that early was a ridiculous time but as we found out when we turned up at the airport, there were so many triathletes from other countries flying back. There were queues out the doors. We had to wait for 2 hours in queues and only just made our flight boarding time. We finally got on the plane and had to wait another 45 minutes as some passengers bags had to get off loaded, as they missed the flight due to long lines.
We finally made it to Frankfurt Airport where we had to lug my bike bag and other luggage up elevators and to the next terminal. I don’t particularly like Frankfurt airport as it is huge, plain, inconvenient and hard to find things. The only good thing was that we had the best breakfast since leaving home and had the fastest check in as dad knows everyone. We checked in at the business counter and managed to get priority tags.
I slept most of the 12 hour flight from Frankfurt to Singapore. Once our plane had touched down I was so glad to be in Singapore. I think it is the easiest airport and the most comfortable. We had a transfer waiting for us, which took us to a hotel where mum and Kayla were staying. When we arrived we found out they had been staying in a suite and had been having breakfast in an executive suite!!!
We had 12 hours in Singapore where went to the new Universal Studios, which was awesome. They had the best rides and the coolest statues. We also went shopping at Vivo shopping mall, where we spent enough money to get a tax refund back. It was about 30 degrees and hot sun, so back at the hotel we went for a swim and I tried to get a tan, as I have just spend most my last days in the grey rainy weather!!!
Back at Singapore airport for our 9 hour flight back to Auckland on Singapore Airlines.
It’s awesome to be back in New Zealand to sleep in my own bed and eat some yummy decent food. But I wish I could have spent a few more days in Singapore instead of exams at school.
Thank God all my gear arrived at Auckland airport and nothing was broken.
Thanks everyone for reading my blog while I was away. I had an awesome time and definitely worth going. THANK YOU!!!!!

Pain is temporary, it may last one minute, one hour or one day but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. However if I quit, it lasts forever!!
