Pheww, finally made it to Hungary after 36 hours of flying. Hungary is very different from what I expected; the drivers are not that good and nearly every single building is ancient. I went for a ride today, and I just felt totally confused. Also frustrated as I had to look the opposite way from normal and I didn’t know whether to ride on the foot path or the road. Plus there are way too many traffic lights.
The weather is not that great either. It is raining and everywhere smells of cigarettes. Still – it’s a bit warmer than the New Zealand weather. I got my bike set up easily, it was making a few clicking noises but there is a bike shop 200 m from hotel and they managed to fix it.
Hi, I'm Danielle McKenzie - I represented NZ at the Surf Life Saving World Champs in France in September where we took out the World title!! I am the World BOARD and LINE throw CHAMPION. Pain is temporary, it may last one minute, one hour or one day but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. However if I quit, it lasts forever!!
