Sponsorship Excitement

It has been an exciting last few weeks. Subway has re-sponsored me this year and I have recently been offered a bike sponsorship by Avanti Plus and a surf ski sponsorship by Sonic Surf Craft. And of course I have my Balance sponsorship too!

Two weekends ago I competed in the Auckland Duathlon held at Pukekohe Race Course where we ran on the horse racing track and biked on the V8 car racing track. It was a hard race with the huge head on wind and tight corners but I loved it!! I placed 2nd in the under 20 age group.

Last weekend we took a family trip to Christchurch to go skiing at Mt Hutt. The weather was awesome and we had a great time, with superb snow conditions. I wore my GPS and discovered I could get up to 60km/h on my skis going down the slopes.

It’s getting exciting now as the Beijing World Champs are approaching. It is only 3 weeks until I leave.
